Things ain`t changed as much as I once thought.

It hasn`t worked out at all, to tell the truth.
It isn`t over.
But it also isn`t ongoing.
It has reached limbo, and i believe it will stay there for a while.

i`m single
and not looking for a man
but looking for the hope i had the last time when we began
six months ago
and looking to believe in the kind of love
that moves mountains
crosses rivers
overcomes obstacles
comforts you
holds you
keeps you warm and safe, when the rest of the world is cold and ugly
a love that is simply beautiful

right now, i`m bitter and jaded
but honest
and unsure if i`ll find that hope
or that kind of love
but i`m willing to keep trying
